So I came back to Skyrim after several months. I run BOSS because I had to chuck out some mods and install others (reached the 255 limit). UFO doesn't function properly, so I tweak load order to get previous functionality. However, certain followers, like Uthgerd, Jenassa, won't follow me, but also can't be dismissed. I use the dialogue box to dismiss them, but every time I take to them again, the dialogue options that come up are those as if they were still my followers. And yet they won't leave or follow me.Ok, so I say, let's try another mod, maybe that can fix things. I install AFT after removing UFO via NMM, which I think is loads better than UFO because of the better options, but same issue comes up.I decide to uninstall both.

Fine, one follower limit and all that, but still Uthgerd (and maybe Jenassa) still act as if they were followers even if I they aren't following me around. I try to dismiss them, still the same issue comes up, but this time, when I tell them they are dismissed, the current follower I have, not the one I am talking to, is the one who leaves. So yeah, weird.Retry again with AFT.

I notice I can go to the command mode and make them wait for me somewhere standing. Then when I talk to them a dialogue option to make them follow me comes up. I say follow me, but AFT gives me an error that 'Unrecognized Follower. Have you dismissed them after running AFT?' Or something to that effect.Alright, so I guess the game and mods are mucking things up such that they have some of the followers in weird limbo state of following me but not really. So to simplify things, I think maybe there is a console command to dismiss them or reset them or something. I try setfollowercount to 0 and the console command to add to the follower faction (set at -1 to remove them), but still nothing.
